Amanda Pohl the Chesterfield Clerk of Court elected in 2023. She is an experienced executive leader dedicated to public service and improving systems. Amanda has used her policy implementation expertise and leadership experience to make our Circuit Court more accessible, transparent, and functional for all.

Pohl has led at the local, state, and national levels. In addition to managing people and processes, her experience includes national efforts to increase women’s political power, supporting women who run for office or seek an appointed position, increasing ballot access for all voters, building partnerships across diverse groups and geographies, serving on the Virginia Fair Housing Board, serving the Chesterfield NAACP, and educating graduate social work students in research, administration, and human behavior.
